  • Departure point: Naha Airport
  • Route: From Naha Airport, take the Okinawa Expressway, exit at the Xuda IC, and head north on Route 58. Proceed toward Kunigami Village, then take Okinawa Prefectural Road No. 70 toward Higashi Village.
  • Travel time: approx. 1 hr. 40 min.

For general roads only

  • From Naha Airport, head north on National Route 58 and take Okinawa Prefectural Road 70 directly to Higashi-mura.
  • Travel time depends on traffic conditions, but please allow approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

When using public transportation

Okinawa’s public buses provide convenient access to the northern part of the prefecture from Naha City, but routes directly to Higashimura are limited. Check the bus schedule in advance and make a plan accordingly.

  • Take a local bus that goes directly from the Naha Bus Terminal to the Higashi-mura Town Hall bus stop.
  • If using a bus, please allow at least 2 hours for travel time.
