History of OKINAWA Fruits Land

OKINAWA Fruits Rando’s history dates back to 1974, in Showa 49. The founder was a pineapple farmer who embarked on a tourism business to share the local delicacies of Okinawa with as many people as possible.

In the early years, they produced pineapple, fresh juice, sata andagi, and brown sugar for visitors.

The park has since evolved into a storybook-themed adventure theme park called Tropical Kingdom Tales.

Visitors can follow the story and enjoy an epic quest to learn the magic of fruit, find the hidden keys to the kingdom, and ultimately rescue the Tropical King in the land of fairies.

The roots of this theme park also date back to 1946, about 60 years ago.

At that time, pineapple production began in Okinawa as part of a government program to encourage cultivation, and the founder started commercial pineapple production in 1954.

OKINAWA Fruits Land has long been a favorite of many visitors as a tourist facility that takes advantage of Okinawa’s rich nature and culture. A visit to Okinawa is the perfect opportunity to experience its long history and charm.
