On July 25, 2024, the Chatan Gateway, a new transportation hub for Okinawa tourism, opened.<\/p>\n\n

It is easy to come directly from Naha Airport to “Chatan” and from there to go around the central and northern parts of Japan!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This facility, set up to make tourist travel more comfortable, is located in Public Parking Lot A Area (across from the Aeon Chatan Store) in Mihama, Chatan Town, Okinawa Prefecture.<\/p>\n\n

As a terminal that allows seamless access to a variety of transportation means, it is expected to greatly enhance convenience for tourists.<\/p>\n\n

It makes the Chatan even hotter!<\/p>\n\n

What is the Chatan Gateway?<\/h2>\n\n

The Chatan Gateway is a facility designed to provide tourists with easy access to a variety of transportation options.<\/p>\n\n

Located in the central part of the main island of Okinawa, Chatan-cho is halfway between Naha Airport and the northern resort area, making it a very convenient location for sightseeing.<\/p>\n\n

This facility will be in operation as a demonstration project until March 2026, and attempts are being made to make tourist travel smoother.<\/p>\n\n

It is only one train ride to Chatan!<\/h2>\n\n

Where access to Chatan was limited to rental cars, express buses at various stations, and buses at various stations, it now takes only 50 minutes from the airport to reach Chatan and beyond, and connections are easy.<\/p>\n\n

Shuttle Bus (Tokyo Bus)] Shuttle Bus (Tokyo Bus) runs from Naha Airport to Chatan via Kokusai-dori Entrance. 9 round trips a day, about 55 minutes! <\/a>Click here for operation information.<\/a><\/p>\n\n
